Charles A. Johnson was born January 19, 1931, in Kansas City, Missouri, to John Downing Johnson, Jr., and the former Mary Elizabeth Dickinson. He passed away on August 25, 2023, in Scottsdale, Arizona, leaving a legacy of remarkable achievements and a lifetime of cherished memories.

Peggy Ruth Berry, also known as Mom, Grandma, and Gigi, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 18th, 2023, at the age of 92. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Barbara Ann Bales went to Jesus on October 14, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born to Edward and Ann Anduss in Newton, KS. Graveside service will be 3pm Monday, October 23, 2023 at Resthaven Memorial Park, Ponca City, Oklahoma. Ted Martin Naman was born January 5, 1948, in Damascus, Syria, to Wadih Naaman and Helen Moghabghab. He died Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 75 years. Ted was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma in Norman where he earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering. He spent over 33 years of his professional career as a mechanical engineer with Conoco Phillips in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Ted was married April 15, 1989, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Jacquetta Hardesty. He was a strong man of faith and while living in Owasso was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. He loved to study the Bible and teach Sunday School. He was also an accomplished author of several Bible prophecy books. Ted enjoyed a variety of pastimes including traveling with his family and spending time on the golf course. He also enjoyed restoring and working on muscle cars. Ted was an amazing husband. Loving father and was affectionately known to his grandchildren as “Papa”. He was loved by so many across the world and will be missed dearly. Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: Wife; Jacquetta, of the home Children; Kristi Arledge and husband Jeff, of Owasso, Oklahoma Jennifer Williams and husband Bryce, of Kansas City, Missouri Ryan Birch, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma Grandchildren; Blake Tumlinson and wife Zygia Halie Stowers and husband MJ Zach Hutson, Mikala Dodd, Kaleb Dodd, Brooklyn Garafola, Kennedi Williams, and Brynlie Williams Great grandchildren; Talon Tumlinson, Izaya Stowers, Scarlett Stowers, Harper Stowers, and Hazel Hutson Siblings; Ghassan Naaman and wife Suhad Nabil Naaman and wife Suzanne He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Lina El Bawab.

PONCA CITY - Larry D. Brickey, 67, formerly of Ponca City, Oklahoma died July 16, 2023, in a Missouri hospital, of natural causes. He was born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas on February 9, 1956, the son of Neal and Juanita, nee Page, Brickey.

Kelly Dee Hadden, 56, recently of Morenci, Arizona, entered into heavenly rest on Monday June 26, 2023. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, October 20, 2023 at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Ponca City, OK. Memorial Services for Keith G. Hanson, 80, of Ponca City, who died September 27, 2023, will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:30 am at Woodlands Christian Church.
