Joan A. Jones

Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Joan A. Jones on September 29, 2023, in her own home. She was age 92. Joan Agnes Fennema was born on October 6, 1930, in Clinton, Oklahoma to Mary Elizabeth Wood Fennema and Dirk Fennema. She was an adored only child of older parents, learning early to memorize and recite poetry. At the ice cream plant owned and managed by her father, she could consume all the ice cream she wanted. In her early teens, the family moved to Winfield, KS. Her father passed away when she was 14.

Joseph, affectionately known to his loved ones as Joe, touched the lives of many and will forever be etched in our hearts and memories.

Pixie Rowland

Pixie Rowland passed peacefully Tuesday, September 12, 2023 with her son and daughter lovingly by her side. Born July 2, 1944 to Kenneth and Carla Hacking of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Pixie grew up alongside her brother Jack both playing and loving sports. Pixie especially excelled at equestrian, field hockey, and tennis. Growing up she attended The Northrup Collegiate School in Minneapolis. Pixie then went on to play tennis at The University of Minnesota, and continued an active role in the sport for most of her life. As an adult, she learned to play golf and quickly became one of the best female amateur golfers around. In her later years she took on pickle ball, and in true Pixie fashion, she mastered that sport as well.

Marsha Belle Townley

July 14, 1930-September 25, 2023 Marsha Townley was born July 14, 1930 to Omer O. Chaney and Lorena Leonard Chaney, Healdton, OK. She passed away on September 25, 2023 in Oklahoma City. She was married on May 24, 1947 to Elden A. Townley who predeceased her in 2008. Marsha was a member of Britton Road Church of Christ where she participated in preparing Mobile Meals until October 2021. She loved people and dogs. Her ministry to friends, family and acquaintance’s was writing beautiful and thoughtful cards and letters.
