Ted Martin Naman was born January 5, 1948, in Damascus, Syria, to Wadih Naaman and Helen Moghabghab. He died Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 75 years. Ted was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma in Norman where he earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering. He spent over 33 years of his professional career as a mechanical engineer with Conoco Phillips in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Ted was married April 15, 1989, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Jacquetta Hardesty. He was a strong man of faith and while living in Owasso was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. He loved to study the Bible and teach Sunday School. He was also an accomplished author of several Bible prophecy books. Ted enjoyed a variety of pastimes including traveling with his family and spending time on the golf course. He also enjoyed restoring and working on muscle cars. Ted was an amazing husband. Loving father and was affectionately known to his grandchildren as “Papa”. He was loved by so many across the world and will be missed dearly. Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: Wife; Jacquetta, of the home Children; Kristi Arledge and husband Jeff, of Owasso, Oklahoma Jennifer Williams and husband Bryce, of Kansas City, Missouri Ryan Birch, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma Grandchildren; Blake Tumlinson and wife Zygia Halie Stowers and husband MJ Zach Hutson, Mikala Dodd, Kaleb Dodd, Brooklyn Garafola, Kennedi Williams, and Brynlie Williams Great grandchildren; Talon Tumlinson, Izaya Stowers, Scarlett Stowers, Harper Stowers, and Hazel Hutson Siblings; Ghassan Naaman and wife Suhad Nabil Naaman and wife Suzanne He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Lina El Bawab.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Mike Gleason officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Allen Hardesty, Robert Johnson, Jeff Arledge, Bryce Williams, Blake Tumlinson, and Zach Hutson. Final resting place will be at Resthaven-Sunset Memorial Gardens in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
