Even before her birth, Jolene’s story touched millions of lives through her “Jolene’s Journey” Facebook page. Jolene was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, but despite all the odds, she lived a full and happy life. Her parents, Tara and Jared, said, “Jolene never cried. She would fuss, but more than anything, she loved to talk and babble, but she was just always the happiest baby.” Jolene loved to play with her dog Ella, she loved her stuffed sea horse and she loved watching the show Bluey. Jolene had the most beautiful blue eyes, just like her mom and her eyes would light up a room. Jolene had a big, boisterous laugh just like her Dad. Jolene loved cuddling with her aunts, cousins and grandparents. Jolene had a big, beautiful, loving family, and she brought joy and hope to every person who met her.
