Aletha I. Cannon, 91, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on October 7, 2023. No viewing is planned. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 13, 2023, at Kaw City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

April 7, 1941 – September 30, 2023 Sylvan Harris of Ponca City peacefully passed Saturday night September 30, 2023 in his home surrounded by family. He was 82 years old and he resided in Ponca City his entire life.

Imogene Louise Crawley, née Burgess, passed away peacefully at home in Punta Gorda, FL, on September 14 at 95 years of age. Born in June, 1928, in Grainola, OK, to Isom and Elva Burgess, Imogene spent her youth in Hardy, OK, graduating from Kaw City High School in 1946. On a family trip to Pyote, TX, Imogene met her lifelong love and partner, Clarence James Crawley, whom she married in September, 1947. From Pyote, CJ and Imogene moved their family, ultimately to include four sons, to Houston and Dallas, TX, Broken Arrow, OK, and Germantown, TN. After retiring and living the RV life for several years, they settled on Lake Catherine near Hot Springs, AR, where they routinely entertained, amused, and delighted any, and often all, of their nine grandchildren. In her last years, Imogene lived in Punta Gorda with her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Pat Crawley.

In Loving Memory of Alan Eugene Young Alan Eugene Young, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, began his journey on November 26, 1959, in Ponca City, OK, as the cherished child of Leroy and Barbara Jean (Dewberry) Young. Growing up in a family of three adoring sisters, Alan’s life was filled with love and devotion from the very beginning.

October 27, 1955 September 22, 2023 Dennis Richard Harden was born October 27, 1955 in the Ponca City, OK hospital. His proud parents were Betty and Ernest Harden.

Seneca Michelle Campbell Jones (Tappy) passed peacefully and went to be with her Lord on September 21, 2023. She was sixty-six years old.

Oct 20, 1963 – July 14, 2023 Michelle was born in Ponca City Oklahoma to Margie Lea (Padgett) and Larry G Kothe Sr. Her early life was spent in Osage County, east of Ponca City where she grew up and went to school.

Melvin Gene Cain, 69, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on October 3, 2023. Viewing will be from 11 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 5, 2023, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, October 6, 2023, at Trout Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 6, 2023, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, with Pastor Francis Bartley, Jr. officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Those unable to attend the Funeral Ceremony, may attend virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.

Keith G Hanson, 80, of Ponca City, OK, formerly of North Platte, NE , died September 27, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.
