Gary Dean Johnson passed away peacefully on June 1st at Northridge Hospital in Northridge, CA, with all his daughters by his side, following a 3 year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Gary was born on January 9, 1943, in Oakland, CA to Cecil and Irene Johnson. They moved to Oklahoma when Cecil became MIA in WWII; later pronounced KIA. He attended Garfield Elementary and graduated from Ponca City High School. As a free-spirited young adult, he hopped onto his motorcycle and took opportunities to live and work where his heart led him; from building airplane parts at McDonnell Aircraft in St Louis, to framing art, silk-screening, and becoming a radio DJ in California. He went on to trucking - starting at Angelus Block, in Los Angeles, and ending his career traveling coast to coast, seeing much of the country.

On Sunday, July 3, 2022 Lila Lee Champlin, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away at her home in Ponca City OK at the age of 79. Lila was born on June 26, 1943 in Arkansas City, KS to Harold Oscar Cummins and Jewel Cummins.

A celebration of life is planned for Mary Lou Winter under the direction of Trout Funeral Home on Saturday, July 9th at 2:00 pm at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Ponca City, OK. Mary Lou (Phillips) Winter passed away peacefully on July 5, 2022 in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 95. Mary Lou was born on May 22, 1927 in a rural farmhouse near Industry, Illinois, the fifth daughter born to Melvin Carl Phillips and Pearl Rosina Keeran. She graduated from Industry High School and attended Western Illinois University, in Macomb, on scholarship. There she obtained a Bachelor of Education degree. While at WIU, Mary Lou met Dallas Winter. They married on June 19, 1949, one month after graduating college, and were married 72 years when Dallas passed away in July 2021.

Kelli Dawn Robinson Owens, 57, of Owasso, Oklahoma, went home to Heaven on July 4, 2022. She stepped into the arms of Jesus at 6:11 a.m., the exact time of sunrise that morning.

D. Rodney Shupe, 76, passed away at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Blackwell, Oklahoma on June 29, 2022, after a battle with lung cancer.

Ralph Ruel Brewer left this earth and met his Heavenly Father on July 2, 2022. Viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will be present from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 8, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, with burial immediately following at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Gerald Lee Nield, 90, of Ponca City, OK, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022. Visitation for Gerald is Friday, July 8th, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with family present from 5:00 -7:00 PM at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. Neal Arthur Onstot was born on April 13, 1930 in Arkansas City, Kansas. He was the only child of Audrey and Charles Onstot. After a brief illness, Neal passed away peacefully at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital on June 16, 2022, with his family by his side.
