Don Thompson Sr, 87, passed away July 17, 2022, in Wichita, Kansas. Don was born December 4, 1934, in Newkirk, Oklahoma, to William Fines Thompson and Martha Lucille Thompson. After graduating high school, he married Treva E. Moiser on November 5, 1955. They have been married 66 years, 8 months, and 12 days. To their marriage were born two sons, Don Thompson Jr., wife Sharon and James Thompson Sr., wife Reba. The same year he got married he also joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served 25 years, retiring in June of 1979. During that time, he was stationed in: Greenville, Mississippi; Chandler, Arizona; Shemya, Alaska; Clovis, New Mexico; Bien Hoa Vietnam; Tucson, Arizona; Phoenix, Arizona; Zweibrucken Germany; and Alexandria, Louisiana, after which he went back to his hometown of Newkirk, Oklahoma. Don was a proud father and while his sons were in Cub and Boy Scouts, he was a Scout Leader until his boys made Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow.

Florene Speakman Love of Farragut, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2022, at the age of 83. A memorial service was held in Knoxville, Tennessee, on July 9th. Florene was laid to rest at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.

Tracey Albert Roy, resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City on Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was 80.

Linda Kay Biby, resident of Ponca City, passed away January 30, 2022, at Alliance Health in Ponca City. She was 74.

Ruth J. Thiele, 81, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on July 14, 2022, at her home. Viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 19, 2022, and 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Resthaven Memorial Park, with Reverend Mark Mozeik officiating. Loran L. “Toby” Ailey, 91, of Tonkawa, OK, left this life on July 12, 2022, in Tulsa, OK. Per his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
