Thursday, March 9 Extra Patrol - At 12:34 am, Adam Cain is allegedly driving in the area of 1400 W Grand, and he has been calling reporting party and clicking the safety off and on with his gun. Subject is also intoxicated. Subject drives a green 1997 Chevy Silverado, possibly has headlight out.

Federal lawmakers call for travel advisory about fentanyl in pills at Mexican pharmacies

Congressional lawmakers are calling on the State Department to issue a travel advisory warning Americans that some Mexican pharmacies are passing off counterfeit pills made of fentanyl and methamphetamine as legitimate pharmaceuticals.

This week in the House saw us reach the halfway point of the legislative session. Before the committee deadline, we saw 543 bills pass out of House committees for consideration on the floor, and this week we heard 163 different measures before the full body. So far this session I’ve had four bills pass the House and one that is still on the floor calendar for consideration.

Kara’s Game takes on basketball

Kara’s Game is very close to the hearts of many people. Kara’s game started out as an annual sporting event and was named after Kara Mitchel, a special needs child who passed away at the young age of 9 years old. They began as a single T-ball game and have grown into so much more. Kara’s game was created because people noticed a group of people in the stands that never got to participate themselves, and now the rest is history.

Man wrongfully accused of arson shares his story

Rocky Auterson II from Blackwell, Oklahoma was accused of committing felony counts of conspiracy, second degree arson, and false claim of insurance in March of 2021. This case was eventually dismissed and the records expunged when evidence showed Auterson had no involvement in a fire that occurred at a property he owned in Blackwell at the time.
