Peachtree Landing temporary emergency shelter, with the help of the United Way of North Central Oklahoma, was able to first offer services to homeless individuals and families almost 35 years ago. The name Peachtree Landing was chosen because a landing provides a safe and secure place during a storm, and the blossoms of the peach tree symbolize hope and potential. The specific mission of Peachtree Landing is to assist homeless individuals and families through temporary emergency shelter and strengthen their capacity to live independently.
