Adoptable Pets

Body
The gorgeous yellow eyed tuxedo cat you see here, is Buggs, this week’s cat of the week. While it is fitting and adorable, the backstory behind Buggs’ name is slightly tragic. Unfortunately, when Buggs originally came to the Northern Oklahoma Humane Society, he had been involved in an accident and didn’t have full use of his back legs. This injury causes him to slightly hop like a bunny when he walks and there came the name Buggs. While he was in the accident and is permanently disabled because of it, he refuses to let it slow him down. He is still just as playful, if not more, than other cats, he loves attention, and he continues living everyday as if this hadn’t happened to him. Buggs was with Northern Oklahoma Humane Society previously and was adopted, but unfortunately he was brought back in October of 2022. He is still very young, only two years old, and he is so incredibly full of life. Buggs’ absolute favorite thing to do is get love and attention from anyone who offers. He is obsessed with people, and has yet to meet one that he hasn’t fallen in love with. This beautiful boy is looking for his forever home, where he can help right into the hearts and laps of his new family.
