The Heather Cannon Wildcat of the Week #15 for the 2022-2023 school year was presented to Po-Hi senior Ethan Meyer. “Ethan is a very impressive young man,” said PCPS Superintendent Shelley Arrott. “All four years of his time at Po-Hi, Ethan has been highly involved in Career Tech and Business Professionals of America, the leading Career and Technical Student Organization. In addition to his classes at Po-Hi, Ethan attends Pioneer Technology Center in the afternoon and is enrolled in the BITE-IT program, taking Cybersecurity, and also serves as a student ambassador at PTC.”

We are less than a week away from the beginning of Phase 5 for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with the premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Phase 4 was a very dense phase with several films and Disney+ series that all seemed to be moving along in different directions with no clear focus other than an emphasis on the multiverse (see Loki, What If…?, Spider- Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness for reference).

For the 40th anniversary of the Meet the Composer series, First United Methodist Church of Ponca City will bring back North Carolinabased composer, conductor, and humorist Pepper Choplin. Choplin was previously in Ponca City for the event in 2016.
