Kay County Sheriff Steve Kelley along with his deputies and staff are excited to begin accepting applications for the Annual Kay County Sheriff Citizens Academy. Applications can be picked up at the Kay County Sheriff’s Office or obtained by calling 580-362-3250 and a copy of the application will be emailed to you. You can also find the application on the Kay County webpage. Please download the application and return it to the office when complete. The Academy will begin Thursday, March 16, 2023, and the deadline for applications will be Friday, March 10, 2023. The Citizens Academy is a 12 week program, held Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Kay County Sheriff’s Office and Pioneer Tech. The Academy is free of charge but the class size is limited.
