The First Lutheran Church of Ponca City hosted their annual Valentine Salad Luncheon on Friday, Feb. 10 from 11 am to 1 pm at the church’s Fellowship Hall at 1104 N. 4th Street. The Fellowship Hall was backed with those gathered for the luncheon. The Women’s Guild of the First Lutheran Church of Ponca City held their first annual Valentine Luncheon in the early 1990s. The event became very popular, so much so in fact that it is held not only in the Fellowship Hall, but also in the narthex of the church to accommodate the number of people arriving during the two hour period.
