NATO to offer Ukraine fast path to join when conditions met

NATO members pledged to invite Ukraine to join the bloc “when allies agree and conditions are met” and to eliminate bureaucratic hurdles in order to speed up the process. At a summit that began Tuesday in Vilnius, NATO leaders agreed that Ukraine won’t need a so-called Membership Action Plan to prepare for joining, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference.

New court documents show that police believe the mass shooting July 2 at Brooklyn Homes was actually a series of shootings, and that detectives think the teen they arrested played a larger role than his gun possession charges suggest.

July 4, 2023 Traffic Stop - At 4:35 am, a traffic stop occurred in the 100 block of N. Pine. Officer #48 took Michael Blackwell, 1960, into custody for DUI, unsafe lane use, and no driver’s license.

City Arts’ annual summer camp begins

City Arts Ponca City Arts Association is holding their annual Summer Art Camp this week. Until Friday, these children, ages 6 through 12, have the opportunity to experience Ponca City’s longest running youth art camp. From learning about different art mediums to then putting that knowledge into practice, this five-day camp will not only be educational, but also incredibly fun. For their $175 tuition fee, these kids will be given not only the supplies they need throughout the week, but also a camp t-shirt, daily snacks and lunch, and a family fun day for the students and their family on the last day of camp.
