Kaiya Honni Primeaux, 51, of Oklahoma City, OK, died on April 8, 2024. Following the noon feast, a funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center. Burial will immediately follow at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery. H. Jean Glasscock

H. Jean Glasscock, 93, passed away on March 26, 2024 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Jean was born on June 22, 1930 in Monroe County, Mississippi to the late Trannie and Lila Thornton Ausborn. She was a graduate of Hatley high School where she played on the girls basketball team. Soon after graduation, she married Earnest Stanford. They were married for 40 years and had two children, Mike and Jan. During their marriage, they made several moves and ultimately ended up in Ponca City, Oklahoma, which was her home for the last 60 years where she was active in the community. She worked several years as a medical receptionist. It was in the early 90’s when Jean married Dr. Tom Glasscock of Ponca City. Together, she and Dr. Glasscock enjoyed traveling and spending time at the country club. Jean also loved being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her garden club. Anytime Jean was ever seen out and about, she was perfectly put together and took great pride in her appearance and how she presented herself. She was deeply devoted to her family and inspired them to excel. She was determined to see her children and grandchildren do well in life. Jean was a faithful Christian who humbly and dutifully served the Lord. She considered Hartford Avenue Church of Christ in Ponca City her home and loved to worship with the congregation there. The scripture teaches us that hope is the anchor of the soul, Jean absolutely lived her life with hope, even in the darkest days. Even with her illness of the last year, she always believe she would get better.

Martha Ellen Hasselbring

Martha Ellen Hasselbring passed peacefully into God’s arms on April 7th, 2024, at Integris Health of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Martha was born in Martinsville, Virginia on August 1st, 1943, to Harvey and Elsie Beauchamp. She was a student at Wicomico Senior High School in Salisbury, Maryland where she graduated, and then moved on to attend Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. Martha lived in a few places during her long full life including Salisbury, Maryland for 31 years. She moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma in 1975 and Newkirk, Oklahoma in 1989 where she lived out her days. While in Salisbury Matha met her future husband Mr. Elmer E. Hasselbring whom she married on September 14, 1961. Martha and Elmer were loving foster parents for over 30 years.
