Ponca City Utility Authority’s funding history with the Oklahoma Water Resources Board

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Ponca City Utility Authority (Authority) has a history of water and wastewater infrastructure funding through the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) which began in 1991. The Authority has participated in OWRB’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF), Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), and the Financial Assistance Loan Program (FAP), along with the most recent approval financed by the Oklahoma American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant program. Collectively, this funding totals over $74 million.

Congress looks to block US agencies from buying Americans’ data

WASHINGTON — Amid a broader effort to curb the electronic surveillance of citizens by U.S. law enforcement and intelligence agencies, a bipartisan group of lawmakers is aiming to shut the door on the government buying and searching through data on Americans obtained from commercial data brokers without court-approved warrants.

THIS WEEKEND AT THE PONCA CITY GOSPEL JUBILEE The Ponca City Gospel Jubilee will be hosting our annual Christmas party featuring our special guest singer Donna Kilmurray, this Saturday night December 16th at 6:30 p.m. We invite you to come join us in a great evening where we come together once a year to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. This exciting night will be filled with fellowship, gospel and Christmas music, prizes, food (bring a finger food is optional), and laughter. This is an evening designed for the entire family in a Christian oriented environment. Following our special guest singer Donna Kilmurray, we will have prize drawing and a time of fellowship and great food and refreshments. The Jubilee Band will then take stage and conclude the evening with more traditional Christmas songs you are sure to enjoy.

Students create ornaments for Marland’s Grand Home

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and many students in the PCPS district have been working like elves in Santa’s workshop to create ornaments that will adorn a tree to be displayed at Marland’s Grand Home, 1000 East Grand Avenue. Marland’s Grand Home is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guided tours are each Monday through Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
