Trump pleads not guilty, waives arraignment in Fulton

In a brief court filing, the Republican also acknowledged that he is waiving his right to an arraignment.

Charlie Adams Day has long been a popular festival for Newkirk and Kay County, celebrating the life of one of Newkirk’s earliest residents. The festival includes many partner organizations to make it happen, including Newkirk Main Street (NMS) and through the organization it is once again brining plenty of fun to the festival with a full day of entertainment, and the famous barbecue cookoff to satisfy the appetites of the community.

Phillips 66 donates medical ATV

Kay County has a new medical ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) available for use thanks to a generous donation from Phillips 66. Working in partnership with the Newkirk Fire Department & EMS, where the unit will be housed, the medical ATV will assist primarily in rural EMS operations. Additionally, the ATV can be made available for community events because of mutual aid agreements that exist amongst the county’s fire and EMS agencies.
