Festival Dollars program launches ahead of Arts Festival

The Ponca City Arts Festival, one of Oklahoma’s longest running arts festivals, will be held on Sept. 22 from 5 pm to 8 pm, and Sept. 23 from 9 am to 4 pm at Cann Gardens in Ponca City. For 48 years, artists from around the region gather at the Ponca City Arts Festival to share their art with this area.

The First Fridays events have become a community favorite over the past few months, but they are coming to a close on Friday, Sept. 1. This event is a wonderful way to relax and appreciate the beauty of Ponca City. At Frist Fridays, there is something for everyone with great food, entertainment, vendors, and much more. The ones to thank for this incredible event are City Arts, Ponca City Main Street, Ponca City Chamber of Commerce, Ponca City Arts & Humanities Council, and the City of Ponca City, who are co-sponsoring First Fridays and are pulling the strings behind the curtains.

There’s some exciting news for Po-Hi students and the 2024 CatTale yearbook with Legacy Studios being the new district photographer. Some things won’t change, however. At the high school, all students, faculty, and staff will continue to have their yearbook pictures taken at no cost. As always, a variety of different portrait packages are available for purchase.
