ATLANTA -- A new study from Emory University researchers has found an association between traffic- related air pollution and Alzheimer’s disease in humans. Using brain tissue donated by metro Atlanta residents, researchers evaluated their home addresses for air pollution generated by nearby traffic.

Via Christie celebrates two 101st birthdays

Via Christie had the opportunity to celebrate the birthdays of two residents that turned 101 years of age this month ahead of their birthdays. Ina Belle (Barker) Marshall and Helen (Reese) Head both turn 101-years old this month, and were both the subject of a story last year when the Centenarians of Oklahoma visited Via Christie to celebrate their 100th birthdays with both presented with plaques as well as “Golden Okie” pins.
