Floyd Hodges Sherrod, III, 83, of Ponca City, OK, died in his home on Friday evening, June 17, 2023, after many years of illness. The family attended a private burial and a memorial service has not been planned. Arrangements were under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Sally Jean (Perry) Dennison, resident of Ponca City, died Sunday, June 25, 2023. She was 88.

Diane Bea Sprague went to be with her precious Lord and Savior on June 26, 2023. Diane was born on January 12, 1939 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to William and Glenora Scott. She grew up in Blackwell, and after graduating from Blackwell High School, Diane attended Northern Oklahoma College. In 1963, she met the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Sprague, while getting a Coke at Sonic Drive-In. They married on July 6, 1964, and Chuck adopted Diane’s son Scott. Six years later, they adopted their daughter Jennifer.

Frank Kenneth Coates, Jr, 76, of Ponca City, passed away on June 24 after a 19-year battle with cancer. Ken was born on July 23, 1946, to Frank Kenneth and Mary Lockwood Coates in Ada, OK.

John Ray White of Sand Springs, Oklahoma went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the age of 73. Viewing will be held from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2023, followed by Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Tonkawa, OK. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, 1206 Waverly, Ponca City, OK. following the mass. Pallbearers include: son Brian White, sons-in-law Michael Cabe and Ben Gislason, and nephews Reece Simpson, Owen Simpson, and Kort Davis.

Mary Agatha Burgell, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins. She was 61.

Betty Frances Wyatt, 91, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on June 14, 2023. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Woodlands Christian Church with Rev. Truman Ferguson officiating. Burial will take place at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Lynn Ellen Reese, aged 61 of Nardin, Oklahoma, entered into glory, on June 19th, 2023. She was born July 16, 1961 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Ray and Ellen Garde, and grew up and graduated in Vinita, Oklahoma.
