Lynn Ellen Reese, aged 61 of Nardin, Oklahoma, entered into glory, on June 19th, 2023.

She was born July 16, 1961 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Ray and Ellen Garde, and grew up and graduated in Vinita, Oklahoma. She then attended Oklahoma State University, where she met her husband of 38 years, Ken Reese.

After marrying Ken, she moved to Nardin, Oklahoma. When she was 26, she gave birth to twins, Alyson and Isaac, followed by Eli and Levi over the next 4 years.

Lynn was an avid member of the Nardin Church, faithfully ministering to countless children by teaching children’s church for over 20 years, and then later leading the praise team in spiritfilled worship to the end of her days. She will be remembered always for her sense of humor and for the Christlike way she lived her life.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Garde, who she now gets to see for the first time since she was seven years old.

She is survived by her husband: Ken Reese, her mother: Ellen Garde, her brothers: Chris and Jon Garde, her children and their spouses: Alyson and Stony Fath, Isaac and Maddie Reese, Eli and Weslee Reese, and Levi and Pilar Reese, and her 9 grandchildren: Frank, Ray, Ruby, Sam, August, Charlotte, Eliza, Lewis, and a yetto- be-named baby. In lieu of a funeral, the family will be celebrating the life of Lynn at the Nardin Church Fellowship Hall on Friday, June 23rd, with a come-and-go reception between 6 and 8pm If you’d like to further honor Lynn’s memory, please attend a church of your choosing on Sunday.
