Harold Pulis, Jr. of Newkirk passed away Friday, June 3, 2022. He was 78 years old. He was born on August 7, 1943 in Alpena Pass, Arkansas to Harold Hospers Pulis and Mary Elizabeth (Neff) Pulis. Harold attended school in Clearwater, KS. On July 26, 1963 he married the love of his life, Patricia Lee Skinner who preceded him in death on January 12, 2017. They were married for over 53 years and were finally reunited after five years. They made their home in Mulvane, KS where they raised their family and later moved to Winfield, KS before retiring to Newkirk, OK.

Evelyn Darlene Osborn Smith, 94, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on Friday, June 3, 2022. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 6, 2022, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery Pavilion, with Reverend Richard Smith officiating. Dorothy L. Clinton Lindeman, age 93, or Rogers, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022.

Jim was born July 18, 1951, in Larned, the son of Willis and Dolly Strain. Jim grew up in Larned and graduated from Larned High School in 1969. He joined the Army in 1973 and after an early discharge due to poor hearing, he moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma in 1975. He later attended Northern Oklahoma College and graduated with an associate’s degree in Computer Science and Accounting with a 4.0 GPA. He received a plaque for Best in Prose Harvest in 1983, was elected to the Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges in recognition of outstanding merit and accomplishment as a student at NOC 1983 – 1984, and received a plaque for Outstanding Student in 1984. He worked for the Ponca City Country Club, and had recently retired after 31 years.

Michael (Mick) Jon Sullivan, age 75, died at his home in Ponca City, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Mick was born in Enid, Oklahoma on March 13, 1947.

Ruth Anne Huggins of Ponca City, OK, passed away in her home, on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the age of 81. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601

Marcia Louise Beguin, 75, a long-time resident of Ponca City, OK, left this life on Saturday, May 28, 2022, after a long illness at her daughter’s residence in Spring Hill KS. Viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will be present from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
