PONCA CITY, OK – “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” was the theme for the Wheeler Dealers Camping Club’s first camp out of the year to Hulah Lake in northern Oklahoma and Sedan, KS held the last weekend in March. The theme was chosen because Sedan is known as the Yellow Brick Road town with over 10,000 bricks imprinted with the names of people from around the world including famous circus clown Emmett Kelly and former Kansas Senator Bob Dole and his wife, Elizabeth Dole.

Northern Oklahoma College Livestock Judging Coach Jennifer Bedwell has been named the National Junior College Livestock Judging Coach of the Year. Bedwell, in her third year at NOC, earned the award after leading the NOC Livestock Judging Team to its first Team of the Year recognition after the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 19.

Students from the Aviation I class at Ponca City High School recently attended the Oklahoma Student Pilot Day presented by the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission in partnership with American Airlines, Tulsa Air and Space Museum, the Oklahoma Air National Guard and Tulsa International Airport. Over 400 students and educators attended the event.
