The Survivor Resource Network (SRN) will be holding the first inaugural “A Teal Af’fur” event that will be held on Saturday, April 29 from 11 am to 2 pm at Central Fare located at 210 S. 4th Street in downtown Ponca City.

On Sat., April 22 and Sun., April 23, the Kay-9 Dog Training Club hosted Obedience and Rally Trails at the Unity Gym. Dogs and handlers from several states, including Oklahoma, came to Ponca City to compete for American Kennel Club titles in Obedience and Rally.

Pending approval from the Ponca City Board of Education, Jason Leavitt has been named Executive Director of Operations for Ponca City Public Schools. He has served as Athletic Director for PCPS since 2018.

Students, faculty, representatives from Oklahoma’s public colleges and universities, and other supporters gathered at the state Capitol April 11 to show appreciation for the Governor, Legislature and state Board of Equalization’s ongoing support of the Oklahoma’s Promise scholarship program and to encourage legislators to continue to fund the program.
