Burglary — At 2:52 a.m. Sunday a subject in the 2000 block of North Sixth Street reported a home being burglarized.

Five members of Laureate Phi met recently at a local coffee shop for lunch,following the guides lines of groups of 10 or less, to welcome one new member and one member who was recently reinstated . Billie Huddleston was welcomed by the chapter and International as their Honorary Member. Billie had been member in Tonkawa chapter many years ago. Donna Rubio, social chairperson, presented Billie with a Yellow rose, the chapter’s flower as a welcoming gift. She was also given a new pin from International.

KAW CITY — Kaw City Senior Citizens Center, 136 Spruce Dr., serves lunch each Tuesday and Thursday for all ages to enjoy. Suggested donation is $5 for ages 50 or older; $6 ages 10 to 49 and children age 9 or under, $4.

The McCord Senior Citizen Center serves hot, home cooked meals from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Ponca City Senior Center is now open with limited activities; however lunch is now served Tuesday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. You can order for dinein or drive-thru.
