Police seek information in burglary case

Shortly after midnight on October 21st, a burglary occurred at Big Hill Pawn, located at 510 N. 1st St. in Ponca City. The suspect, Michael Phillip Lefthand, hooked a chain up to the front doors of the business and used a truck to pull the front doors off. Lefthand grabbed multiple firearms from inside the pawn shop and drove away. Multiple officers from the Ponca City Police Department and the Kay County Sheriff’s Office were later involved in a vehicle pursuit with Lefthand in which he eventually crashed his vehicle. Following the pursuit, Lefthand ran from the scene and escaped on foot, carrying a black pumpaction Citadel 12 gauge shotgun with a pistol grip.

Dogs and cats that are spayed or neutered at the clinic are also eligible for free vaccinations and microchips.
