CASA for Kids serves Kay County

CASA for Kids is a nonprofit organization that mission is to watch over and speak up for abused and neglected children by recruiting, screening, training, and supporting community volunteers who advocate for these children. CASA’s first program began in Seattle, Washington in 1977 as an experiment to involve concerned community members in sensitive and confidential material of families. These volunteers could bring information and become guardians to the children in court and their cases that was free from biases, policies, and procedures. This CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocate, group serves Payne, Logan, and Kay Counties in this mission.
