I don’t often talk about video games too much. Don’t get me wrong, I love playing them and even covered a top ten list in this very column, but I usually prefer to keep the focus on movies, television and comics.

‘WONKA’ Rated PG for some violence, mild language and thematic elements. What it’s about: This is the magical musical origin story of mischievous chocolatier Willy Wonka.

Andre Braugher, who captivated television audiences in the gritty crime drama “Homicide: Life on the Street” and cop comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” among other standout roles, has died. He was 61.

In 2000, “Chicken Run” scurried into theaters, exposing the masses to the brilliant stop-motion work of Aardman Animations. Before then, it was best known for projects including the memorable music video for Peter Gabriel’s hit song “Sledgehammer” and, more relevantly, the charming short films featuring the endearing duo of Wallace and Gromit.
