CHOCTAW -- The Ponca City Lady Cats soccer team finished third in the Choctaw Cup tournament over the weekend. Coach Mike Arnold’s team opened with a 1-0 victory over Harrah.
CHOCTAW -- After losing their opener, the Ponca City Wildcats boys soccer team rebounded with two wins to finish fifth in the Choctaw Cup tournament over the weekend. The Wildcats lost to eventual tournament champion Edmond North 3-2 in the opening match.
The Ponca City Wildcats lost twice in a pair of close games Friday and Saturday at the Po-Hi baseball field. On Friday, the Guthrie Bluejays defeated Ponca City 6-4 in a nine-inning game.
