CHOCTAW -- After losing their opener, the Ponca City Wildcats boys soccer team rebounded with two wins to finish fifth in the Choctaw Cup tournament over the weekend. The Wildcats lost to eventual tournament champion Edmond North 3-2 in the opening match.

The Ponca City Wildcats lost twice in a pair of close games Friday and Saturday at the Po-Hi baseball field. On Friday, the Guthrie Bluejays defeated Ponca City 6-4 in a nine-inning game.

Wildcat pitchers Jaxon Testa and Corey Marazas combined to pitch a no-hitter Thursday as Ponca City defeated Southwest Covenant in a game at the Po-Hi baseball field. Testa pitched the first four innings and Marazas pitched the final inning.
