Wildcat pitchers Jaxon Testa and Corey Marazas combined to pitch a no-hitter Thursday as Ponca City defeated Southwest Covenant in a game at the Po-Hi baseball field.

Testa pitched the first four innings and Marazas pitched the final inning. Testa struck out four and walked two while Marazas struck out one in his time on the mound.

Ponca City scored in every inning, picking up one run each in the first, second and third innings, two runs in the fourth and five in the fifth to end the game on a run rule victory.

The Wildcats have eight hits. Colton Jones and Brody Wicker each had two hits, while Testa, Grant Harmon, Titan Bute, snf Hayden LeClair each had one hit.

Harmon’s hit was a triple. Bute had three runs batted in, Harmon and Wicker each had two RBI’s and Testa, Teegan Hodgson and LeClair each had one.

The Wildcats had two more games on the schedule this weekend, both at home. Friday, the Wildcats were scheduled to host Guthrie and Saturday Moore is set to be the opponent for a 1 p.m. game.
