Monte Joe Andrews Sr, 83, beloved Husband, Dad, Grandfather and brother was called to his eternal resting place on April 26, 2021. He entered this world on November 14, 1937 in Winfield, KS, born to Lloyd Andrews and Lorene Spore Andrews.

Monte lived in Ponca City until he was 12 years of age and the family moved to Maplewood, Louisiana and returning to Kay county in 1991. Monte served a tour of duty in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960. Monte married the love of his life on July 12, 1996 in Winfield, Ks and they made their home in Newkirk. Monte worked for Conoco Vista Chemicals for over 25 years retiring in 1989. Monte enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends,

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Gloria Andrews, 1 son: Monte J. Andrews Jr of Newkirk, OK 2 daughters; Sheryl Thomas and husband Scott of Dequincy, LA, Laurel Penny of DeQuincy, LA 1 step daughter; Cindy Morse of Jennings, LA 1 stepson; Jamie Wilks of Sulphur, LA, 1 brother: Mitchell Andrews of Montgomery, TX. 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
