Ponca City resident to appear on Kansas TV program

A long-time Ponca City resident, Royce Caldron, will be a guest on a program titled “Identity Quest” that is produced by KTWU-TV in Topeka, Kansas. This series features guests who are selected to have their genealogical brick walls researched. In genealogy, a brick wall refers to when someone has reached a dead end in their search for someone on their family tree.

Over 2,000 Oklahoma Law Enforcement Officers are currently trained in ODMHSAS Crisis Intervention

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuses Services (ODMHSAS) celebrated a critical milestone this May, during National Mental Health Awareness Month. ODMHSAS has officially trained 1,000 more law enforcement officers in Crisis Intervention Training (CIT).

Prince Harry irks London judge by skipping first day of trial for daughter’s 2nd birthday party

Prince Harry was accused of wasting the court’s time in his phone-hacking lawsuit against a tabloid newspaper and left the London judge overseeing his case “visibly irritated” because he did not show up for the first day of his trial, as the judge had instructed him.

PCPS SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM Ponca City Public Schools will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to the children without charge ages 1-18 and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, at the sites and times as follows: Dine In Only; Open Site
