Europe’s searing heat wave to intensify in Greece over the weekend

Extreme heat across the Mediterranean is expected to build into the weekend, testing records in fire-ravaged Greece after easing slightly on Thursday. Temperatures on the Italian island of Sardinia climbed close to a record of 47.7C (118F) on Wednesday, but Greece and the Balkans are becoming the new focus of the Saharan anticyclone.

Habitat ReStore move is underway

The Ponca City Habitat for Humanity ReStore is currently in the process of moving location. After 16 years in downtown Ponca City, the store will be moving to the new location at 1401 N. 7th Street. The ReStore is a local used hardware store and furniture depot, and has built up a variety of household items, furniture and other items through years of donations from locals.
