Police seek suspects in Walmart robbery

On the morning of September 19th, Ponca City Police Officers responded to Walmart at 1101 E. Prospect in response to a reported robbery. Multiple witnesses observed two males, as seen in the attached photographs, commit a robbery at the Walmart Money Services Center in the front of the store. According to witnesses, one of the subjects passed a note to a cashier which stated he had a gun and he demanded money from the Money Services register. The two male subjects ran from the store after taking cash from the cashier and were last seen running to the north, away from Walmart.

Liberton selected for Hall of Fame Teen Board

Brylen Liberton of Ponca City High School is among 45 high school students from 23 high schools statewide selected to serve on the 2023 Oklahoma Hall of Fame Teen Board. The Teen Board is a group of high school students dedicated to learning about Oklahoma’s history and heritage while supporting the Oklahoma Hall of Fame’s education programs.

The fall Ponca City Consignment Sale kicks off

Throughout the weekend of Sept. 15 through 17, the first of the Circle of Friends’ fall Ponca City Consignment Sale kicked off this season’s sale with their men and children’s selection. For over 20 years now, the Circle of Friends’ Consignment Sale has offered amazing items at a great price for the people of Ponca City. While these sales are going on, they see around 1,000 shoppers through their doors every day. Their customers come from the surrounding areas, some as far as, or farther than, Oklahoma City.
