PONCA CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM: PROVIDING MEALS FOR CHILDREN AGES 1-18 Ponca City Public Schools will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to the children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis, at the sites and times as follows: Dine In Only; Open Site

Kay County receives Basic, Advanced I, and Advanced II certifications

Kay County Deputy Clerks Dawn Alexandersen and Mary Kirkendall recently achieved certifications through the County Training Program (CTP). Deputy Clerk Dawn Alexandersen achieved Basic, Advanced I, and Advanced II certifications. Deputy Clerk Mary Kirkendall achieved Advanced II Certification. Alexandersen and Kirkendall work for Tammy Reese in the Kay County Clerk’s office.

Kay County Assessor introduces free online public records search

Newkirk, Okla. – Kay County Assessor Janell Leaming has announced that the county will display its real property records for free on actDataScout. com. Users can search more than 30 fields stemming detailed property records, view property cards, and map selected parcels. The county has entered into an agreement with DataScout, LLC, a GovTech applications development firm and web-based data solutions provider, to host and maintain the website and the real estate records at actDataScout.com.

County sale to be held at Kay County Administration building

Kay County Treasurer, Rhonda Stephens, would like to make the public aware that the treasurer’s office will be conducting the annual Tax Resale for the office of the County Treasurer on Monday, June 10th, 2024 at the KAY COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, located at 219 S Main, Newkirk, beginning at 9:00 am. The new Administration Building is located next to the current Kay County Courthouse that is under remodel. You should not enter the Courthouse in any way and come straight to the Administration Building. We will have signs that will help guide you. This sale will be for property that is being sold for several years of delinquent tax as required by state statute Title 68 Section 3129.
