Jimmy (Jim) Lewis Stevenson

Jimmy (Jim) Lewis Stevenson, 88, died December 4, 2023. Jim was born August 11, 1935 at home in Hulbert, OK. He married Edith Ann Patton on February 2, 1955. Jim and Edith met in Illinois while he was working a summer job for Libby’s. Jim first noticed Edith when she was a contestant in the Pumpkin Festival pageant. He and Edith were married 58 years until her death in January 2013.

Mitchell LeRoy Childs

Mitchell “Mitch” LeRoy Childs was born August 11, 1950 to John J. and Rachel Daily Childs. He entered his eternal life on December 3, 2023 with his loving wife (of 27 years) Mary Ballesteros Childs by his side. He was a proud member of the Eagle Clan of the Otoe Missouria Tribe. Xra Sage (Old Eagle) was the name given to him by his uncle Mark Whitehorn. Mitch worked various jobs in his lifetime but the one that he was most proud of was serving his country in the US Marine Corps and the US Navy. Mitch was a Sergeant in the US Marine Corp. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a proud member of the Bravo Company Force Recon. Prior to his military duty he attended school at Red Rock High. In 2000 he and his wife made their home in Enid, OK. He loved to watch and cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs and the OSU Cowboys. Mitch loved to spend his time going on long drives with Mary, getting ice cream at Dairy Queen, visiting casinos, reading, playing golf, and his biggest love was shopping. Mitch would spend countless hours taking care of, playing with, and loving his pets Chloe, Thay Way, and Oreo. Mitch loved to take his brothers to eat or pick up their favorite meals and surprise them. He made sure they were taken care of even as his own health declined.

It is with great sadness we have to announce that our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother has left to be with her heavenly family. Patsy Sue (Pat) Hoskins, age 91, passed away after a short illness November 17th while under Hospice Care at Shawn Manor Nursing Home.
