PGS to learn to use Find-a-Grave

Genealogists are naturally fond of cemeteries. Happy or sad, they are special family places, full of memories of the past where our ancestors sleep. Full of symbols, associations and special messages in inscriptions. On Monday, June 5, at 7 pm at the Ponca City Library, for Pioneer Genealogical Society’s monthly meeting, Hallie Godbehere will present a program on how to use Finda- Grave on your computer or smartphone. The public is welcome.

Ponca City Public Schools will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to the children without charge ages 1-18 and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, at the sites and times as follows: Dine In Only; Open Site

May 30, 2023 Attempt to Locate - At 3 am, Enid Police Department requested an attempt to locate a 12-year old and 13-year old juveniles that took a black Jeep Wrangler and drove it to Ponca City. Tracking puts them just south of El Patio. The Enid Officer advised this was not a real time track, but a Snapchat location with an hour time lapse.
