Burbank First Baptist Church News

Christmas is drawing closer. Ther children of the church are busy preparing for a children’s Christmas program this coming Sunday, December 17th at 6:00 pm. Our program director, Joyce Moore, is doing her usual diligent effort to have enough practice time with the children to prepare them for the presentation that has been selected. As always, everyone is invited to attend the program. The program will probably not last very long. You are welcome to take pictures is you so desire during the program. We have planned a fellowship for all those who wish to stay and join us after the program. All we ask is for those who attend to bring a favorite Christmas snack to share with others. Refreshments and a submarine sandwich with all the trimmings will be provided by the church. Christmas is a very special time of the year when family have a time of gathering and the exchanging of gifts. The greatest gift for everyone is to have time to celebrate the birth of a Savior. God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. I hope you have found time in your life to be one of the “whosoever”. God’s provision for us is such a blessing. To acknowledge that God loved you so much is the greatest blessing that you can receive. Please find ways to be a blessing to others this Christmas season. Pray for those who appear to be less fortunate. Many people have needs that you will never know about unless you open your heart to what is going on around you. People do need the Lord. Be a believer that shares your faith by sharing your love. In Jesus name, have a blessed Christmas season.
