Melting Greenland has lost 1 trillion tons more ice than thought The Greenland ice sheet, an expanse of frozen water about three times the size of Texas, is disappearing much faster than previously thought, according to new research, and the difference may already be affecting the distribution of heat around the world. The mass of ice lost between 1985 and 2022 has been underestimated by as much as 20%, or more than 1,000 gigatons (1 trillion metric tons).

Espresso On The Go spreads caffeine to Kay County

Espresso On The Go - Coffee Truck LLC has made a name for itself by spreading joy, and of course caffeine, to the people of Kay County. Originally known as the Nova Coffee Truck, Espresso On The Go has gone through a rebrand in the new year. The original owner, Tate Burdick, opened the Nova Coffee Truck in 2022 and spent a year touring the local areas offering drinks to locals. In September of 2023, Burdick announced that the Nova name would be opening a location in partnership with Sugar and Grind on Grand and in the wake was selling the Nova Coffee Truck.

US and UK airstrikes slow Iran from supplying weapons to Houthis, officials say

Iran isn’t yet restocking Houthi rebels with weapons by sea after the United States and United Kingdom airstrikes in Yemen last week, Western officials said, signaling cautious optimism that the military action had some success in disrupting the supply of arms to the group.
