THIS WEEKEND AT THE PONCA CITY GOSPEL JUBILEE Cross Country featured Saturday night June 3rd. at 6:30 p.m. Cross Country Ministry will bring to the stage your favorite older songs from the past as well as newer songs and occasionally a few originals-all flavored southern style! Come join us at the Ponca City Gospel Jubilee this Saturday night and enjoy this wonderful ministry Cross Country. Live music with talented musicians and singers as well as recording artist. Coming to us from the Branson Missouri area. If you love the oldtime southern gospel, then you’re going to really love this ministry. Following a short break with prize drawings as well as free refreshments the Gospel Jubilee band will take stage to finish out the evening. Moscow hit by biggest drone attack as Russia blames Ukraine

Russia said it downed eight drones aimed at Moscow early Tuesday, the biggest attack on the capital since President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine. The Defense Ministry in Moscow blamed the assault on Ukraine, adding that air defenses shot down five of the drones while electronic jamming was used to divert three others from their intended targets.

WASHINGTON -- Do you know that this country was once derided as being the most prudish of all the major countries on earth, even more prudish than the U.K.? For decades, we were laughed at for our prudish ways. Then something happened. We moved from being puritanical to being obsessed by sex and, by the way, obsessed by violence, too. We became obsessed with killing each other, or at least with shooting each other, particularly in schools, places of worship, hospitals and latenight parties, wherever you would least expect mayhem. Some of our experts spoke of Black-on-Black shootings, but there has been plenty of white-on-white shootings and indiscriminate bloodshed.
