YUKON --Two Ponca City High School records were set while five athletes represented the school at Friday and Saturday’s Class 6A State Track Meet.

Victor Morfin, finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 6-feet-6 inches. That is a new Po-Hi record.

Also breaking a school record was the 4x400 relay team of Aven Hobbs, Morfin, Luke Beiergrohslein and Jace Schneeberger. The relay team finished eighth with a time of 3:24.31.

Ponca City scored eight points at the meet, good for 20th place as a team. Winning the boys team title was Tulsa Union with 108.5 points. Jenks was second with 74, Stillwater was third with 69, Westmoore was fourth with 56 and Broken Arrow was fifth with 55.

Edmond Memorial won the girls side of the meet with 113 points. Jenks was second with 105, Edmond Santa Fe was third with 91, Tulsa Union fourth at 86 and Edmond North with 42.
