OKLAHOMA CITY -- When the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association State Wrestling Tournament gets underway on Friday at the State Fair Arena, seven wrestlers from Ponca City will be scheduled to compete.

One Lady Cat wrestler, Adisyn Ivers and six Wildcats, Christopher Kiser, Gabe Roland, Cameron Kiser, Jimmy Swenson, Preston Lee and Ryker Agee, are scheduled to wrestle.

Ivers finished fourth in the Girls Regional in Sallisaw last week. On the boys side, Christopher Kiser and Gabe Roland finished second in the Jenks Regional and Swenson, Cameron Kiser, Lee and Agee finished fourth.

Those finishing fourth were scheduled to participate in wrestle-in matches. The second- place finishers will start their state tournament wrestling later in the day.

In the 106-pound division, Swenson was scheduled to wrestle Neeley of Deer Creek in a wrestle-in match. At 132, Lee was scheduled to wrestle Morales in a wrestle-in match. Agee was scheduled to compete against Olguin of Choctaw at 144 in a wrestle-in match. Cameron Kiser, who finished fourth at 120, was moved into the main bracket due to a wrestler withdrawing and is scheduled to compete in the opening round against Devon Miller of Westmoore, who finished second in the West Regional.

In the Girls State Tournament, Ivers was scheduled to compete against Antonelli of Southeast in a wrestle-in event.

Christopher Kiser, who was state champion a year ago, will wrestle against Brayden Kelly of Westmoore in the opening round at 113. Roland was scheduled to Jaylin Pounds of Moore at 215 in the opening round.
