Ruby Norene Brown, 75, passed away on September 3, 2022 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 18, 1946 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Charles Seth Atkins and Iva Lee McVey. She lived in California for many years and moved to Oklahoma in 1965.

She worked several years and retired from Mediclaims Inc. in 2014 She always considered herself to have a Gypsy Soul and enjoyed dancing in her free time and hanging out with her dog Little Bit.

She is survived by her husband Gary McWilliams, of the home, sister Pam Harless of Ponca City, sons Richard Warnock, Alan Wright of Ponca City, Newt McWilliams of Blackwell. Daughters Rhonda Meyer and husband Jeff Meyer Burbank, Ok. Cindy Hall and Husband Richard Newkirk, OK. Lindy Merz and Husband Dave of Newkirk, Ok. And Tammy McWilliams of Newkirk, Ok. She is also survived by numerous. grandkids, greatgrand kids, and nieces and nephews.

Norene is preceded in death by brothers Bert Wittner, Charles Atkins, and Roy Atkins, sisters, Abigail (Hap) Taggert, Gladys Reed, Betty White, and Pat Warnock.

There will be no services but there will be a celebration of life October 8, 2022 at 1pm at the Christ Church, located at 1001 Boaz Street Newkirk, Oklahoma.

She will be missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.
