Rosemary Ruth (Ruedin) Finch, 81, of Norfork, Arkansas, died December 22, 2023 after a sudden illness. She was born January 14, 1942 in Alton, Illinois to Roger and Bernice (Winslade) Ruedin. Rosemary met her husband Walter Finch (deceased) at The University of Colorado, Boulder, and as a newlywed settled in Ponca City, Oklahoma, where she raised three children: Jeff Finch, Mary Finch (Paul Saunders), & Craig Finch (Jaime Mistler). In addition to her children, Rosemary is survived by her brother Richard and his wife Rosemary, as well as grandchildren Nicholas, Ethan, and Carolyn Saunders.

Rosemary was an active church member and bible study instructor who enjoyed her many years of work in the microbiology lab at Ponca City Hospital. She was a dedicated volunteer for her children’s activities, an animal lover who regularly fed the neighborhood’s stray cats, and someone who was always ready for adventure travel.

Several years ago, Rosemary moved to her dream home overlooking a river in the Arkansas hills where she adopted a series of cats, began kayaking, and volunteered at the local hospital. Her greatest joy came from driving the winding back roads in her bright yellow Ford Mustang GT convertible. She will be deeply missed.
