George Russell Primeaux, 68, arrived at his last destination on 3-22-22. He was born in Pawnee, OK, 12-15-53 to Russell Primeaux and Elsie Green. He graduated from Ponca City High School, representing Po-Hi as a Boys State Representative. he joined the Marines in the spring of ’75, and proudly served wit the USMC.

He was married to Betty Pensoneau Primeaux on 1-29-76. They raised four children: Sheila, David, Jennifer and Jon.

George obtained an electrical instrumentation degree from OSU at Okmulgee, OK. He was employed at Conoco, working for the pipeline for many years. Later, he worked for the Ponca Tribal Housing Authority, successfully achieving the “Best Practice Award.”

He was preceded in death by both parents and his beloved brother, Enos. Also, preceded in death by his sister Joyce LeClair, and brother Benjamin Mike LeClair.

To celebrate his memory are numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews; his spouse Betty of the home; sisters Susan Primeaux, OKC, Lois Warrior of Tonka wa, and Rosetta Blueback of Ponca City.

George was a “man’s man,” and a natural athlete in younger days. He enjoyed golfing and cheering on OSU. He loved all animals, watching Oklahoma sunrises and sunsets. He will be greatly missed.

His last wishes were respected in regard to his final interment. Graveside acknowledgement was given by Mr. James White, Wednesday, March 30th at 1:00 pm.
