Trump insists on ‘disclaimer’ defense already tossed in NY fraud trial

Body
As he sat on the witness stand in a New York courtroom last week, Donald Trump reached into his pocket, pulled out a piece of paper and tried to hand it to the judge. Trump explained the document showed the standard disclaimer he used on financial records he sent to lenders — essentially saying they can’t rely on him to tell the truth.

THIS WEEKEND AT THE PONCA CITY GOSPEL JUBILEE The Ponca City Gospel Jubilee will feature “Rosie Otoole” Nov. 18th at 6:30 p.m. Rosie has been involved in Music Ministry since 1994. All of her life Rosie has been a very shy person and never dreamed that the Lord would put her up in front of people singing for Him. She sang for the first time in public in 1991. As she slowly began to sing more, she received support and encouragement from family, friends Johnny & Nelda Flanagan, as well as her pastor and the whole congregation at Central Baptist. She then began singing more frequently and in various places such as churches, convalescent homes, ladies retreats, senior citizen groups, fundraisers, political events, etc.

Veterans Day Parade Committee thanks Stuteville Chevrolet for flag donation

Body
Working with the Ponca City Veterans Day Parade Committee these past years has been very rewarding. As with anything else there are challenges and occasionally they become big ones. We were just two days away from our 2023 Veterans Day Parade when one of those big challenges happened. For several years we have borrowed a large US flag for the Po-Hi Steppers to carry down the street in the parade. The High Steppers carrying the large flag has been a big addition to our parade and we all look forward to it each year. Thursday evening before the parade I was notified we would not be able to get the flag this year and as you might guess it put me in panic mode.
