June 22, 2023 Disturbance - At 12:16 am, the reporting party advised there were two people trying to fight her mom at 2201 N. 14th. The front door of the apartment was locked and they were trying to get through it. The parties have been separated.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle - At 2 am, the reporting party provided second hand information in reference to a black single cab GMC truck that was acting strange in the area of Lazy K Motel.

Vandalism - At 7:25 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to vandalism to her building at 901 N. Union.

Theft/Shoplifting - At 8:02 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a break in and theft at 500 W. Highland.

Miscellaneous - At 11:18 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to holding a subject in custody at 400 E. Central. Officer #38 took Dakota Miner, 03/1998, into custody for his local warrants.

Accident - At 12:33 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a two vehicle minor accident at 1304 Princeton.

Check for Wanted - At 2:04 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a subject at 1904 N. Union and has warrants from Kay County. Officer #38 took Joycee Newrider, 02/1984, into custody for assault and battery on an officer, and domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Subject was transported to Kay County Sheriff’s Office.

Disturbance - At 4:59 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to juvenile breaking windows at 327 S. Palm. Officer #44 took a juvenile male into custody for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Juvenile was released on a municipal promise to appear.

Disturbance - At 6:07 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a female who assaulted another at Ambucs Pool. Officer #40 took a juvenile female into custody for assault and battery. Juvenile was released on a municipal promise to appear.

Reckless Driver - At 6:15 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a motorcyclist that was driving at high rates of speed in the 800 block of N. 3rd.

Traffic Stop - At 6:49 pm, a traffic stop occurred at 720 E. Prospect. Officer #43 took Anthony Baker, 08/1983, into custody for DUI.

Man with Weapon - At 8:29 pm, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a subject that was in her home, when she asked him to leave he grabbed a knife and attempted to harm her. Officer #43 took Devon Duvall, 01/1996, for burglary - 1st degree, assault and battery, and possession of marijuana. Officer also took Gabriel Dickinson, 11/2004, into custody for multiple warrants.
