March 22, 2023 Traffic Stop - At 9:31 am, a traffic stop occurred at 7th and Central. Officer #50 took Steven Meyers, 01/1971, for city warrants for driving under suspension - 2nd offense or more, and Kay County warrants for possession of contraband by an inmate.

Domestic - At 11:31 am, the reporting party requested an officer in reference to a verbal domestic at 423 S. Lake. Officer #43 took Tayton Tuley, 19-years old, into custody for domestic assault and battery.

Traffic Stop - A traffic stop occurred at Central and Oak at 1:12 pm. Officer #46 took Franklin Noear, 06/1980, for carry or possessing a firearm by convicted felon and possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute x2.

Open Door - At 2:26 pm, the reporting party advised of a white male in a white shirt looking through property and putting it in a black backpack in the area of 1724 Donahoe. Male had a hatchet at one point and a knife around his neck tucked under his left arm. Subject put on a blue shirt and was hanging around the area messing with property and the front door. Kay County took the subject into custody.

Domestic - At 4:43 pm, the reporting party on 911 requested an officer in reference to a verbal domestic in the backyard at 1216 Princeton. The reporting party was unable to provide any descriptions. Subjects were gone on arrival.

Pursuit - At 5:21 pm, a pursuit occurred in the area of Ash and Emporia. Action took possession of the vehicle. Officer #48 took David Mauk, 05/1995, for alluding, driving under suspension (DUS), affixing proper tag to conceal identity, defective equipment, and no insurance.

Disturbance - At 6:43 pm, the reporting party advised of possible gunshots in the 300 block of S. Elm. The reporting party also advised they could hear a female yelling two blocks north. Officer made contact with multiple subjects advising they did not hear anything. Officer #38 stayed in the area.

Theft/Shoplifting - At 8:57 pm, the reporting party on 911 requested an officer in reference to three female shoplifters at Ollie’s. Advised, they entered into a blue Honda Accord with Osage Nation tag 33341. They were last seen turning westbound into the parking lot of the Green Herb. The reporting party lost sight of the vehicle from there.

Accident - At 10:44 pm, a one vehicle accident occurred in the ditch at Prospect and Waverly. Vehicle was one fire, and the reporting party said the vehicle was unoccupied. Ponca City Fire Department, Kay County Sheriff’s Office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol were advised. Blue Collar towed the vehicle.
