This week’s cat of the week is Sushi, the two year old beauty that has stolen the hearts of the workers at Northern Oklahoma Humane Society. This sweet girl has been at NOKHS since March and is waiting for her forever home. Sushi stood out because of her loving and gentle personality. She is young enough that she still has a lot of playful energy, but she is also very relaxed and calm. She is very curious and loves to explore. Right off the bat, Sushi was very affectionate and really just wanted attention. Sushi is the definition of a lap cat and just wants to snuggle up with her person. She is very sweet, gentle, and loving and would make the perfect cat for anyone looking to add to their family. The gorgeous girl you see pictured is Paisley. Paisley is a 5 month old puppy that has been with the Northern Oklahoma Humane Society since March. The workers are guessing that she is a Labrador Retriever, but she is definitely a wonderful dog regardless. For a puppy, she is extremely smart and I can tell already that she will make a great best friend to anyone who gives her a chance. Paisley is extremely food motivated so learning commands should be easy, in fact she has already quickly learned how to sit. While she is very smart and excited to learn, she is still a puppy so she has so much energy so whoever adopts her needs to understand that. She loves to play and is good with other animals. Paisley would be a great addition to any family and she is looking for someone to love her for all of her life.
