Ronald and the former Vivian Stebens were married July 21, 1961 in Ponca City, OK. They have resided in their present rural home in Newkirk for over 50 years.

Their children are son, Troy Scott of Newkirk, OK; daughter Leah McCombs and husband Eric of Newkirk, OK; daughter Rhonda Stephens and husband Kevin of Newkirk, OK. Their grandchildren, Laci (Stephens) Bemo and husband Cody, Tyler McCombs and wife Danielle all of Newkirk, Lacey (McCombs) Allen and husband Christian of Tulsa, OK and one great grandchild, Layla Drager of Newkirk.

Retired from farming and ranching, they enjoy spending time with family, trips to Branson, Missouri, watching St Louis Cardinals and old western movies.
